Brief
In this brief I was given the task to design an iron specifically for the elderly.
Response
To answer this brief I decided to take the iron back to basics. I believe when designing for the elderly the key is to use clean lines and bold clours to create simple and clear functions. I designed the handle as the bladder for the one function spray. This was to make sure there was no unnecessary bulk or weight which the user would find hard to use. I used Solidworks and Photoview to model and render my final design.
